Word Count in Google Documents:

The first thing that you need to make sure of is that you are logged into a google document when you have decided to write something in it.

Then open the document that you need to work on, or you can just simply start writing on a new document and start to type whatever you have to type.

When you have written your desired words and you want to check what the word count is, you need to click on the option called the ‘tools’ option that is present in the menu bar.

You will see an option for word count in that bar and you can check the character count, word count, as well as the number of pages that you have used.

There is another option that you choose which says display word count while typing. You can choose that option if you constantly want to keep track of the words that you have written.

You can see this option at the bottom of the screen that you are using all the time when you are writing. You can also dismiss it if you do not want to see it constantly.

On your phone, what you need to do is to open google documents and then tap on the plus sign that will be present on the side of your screen.

You can then start typing, to check the word count on your phone’s google document, tap on the three lines that are present on the upper right side of your phone.

You will see a list where you can check different things which also includes word count. Click on the option and you will find the word count of your file.
